Pipe Work
Upgrade of MGO boiler supply systems of several oil tankers. All jobs were performed on board and while sailing.
Situation:
Requested to supply several specialized riding squads capable to modify and upgrade MGO boiler supply systems of a great number of ocean-going oil tankers.
Challenges:
- The riding squads would have to include 2 pipe fitters, 1 coded TIG welder and 1 electrician.
- All technicians would have to be experienced, multi-skilled, self-driven and available to perform the job on board in harsh conditions.
- Riding Squads were sent globally and at short notice
