In July 2025, STEP Consolidated successfully completed an intervention on a winch installed on a tugboat.
The scope of work included the winch removal and full disassembly of the equipment, refurbishment of the foundation structure, repair of the dog clutch, hydraulic distributor overhaul, shaft machining, fabrication and fitting of new bushings, overhaul of the brake hydraulic cylinders, and dimensional control, before and after the repair.
The intervention was finalized with the reassembly and functional testing of the equipment.
